• Initial phone interview. Once we review your introduction, one of our franchise professionals will contact you for a brief conversation during which you will explore the potential fit and discuss next steps.
• Qualification. Once we?ve made an initial determination of mutual fit, we will ask you to provide some more detailed background information including financials and work experience.
• Mutual discovery. Once we have reviewed your qualification information and we?ve decided to proceed, we will enter into a due diligence process that will help each of us confirm a mutual fit. This process will include disclosure of our Franchise Disclosure Document (FDD,) your discussions with our current Franchise Partners, preparation of your business plan for review during your Discovery Day, and financial and background checks.
• Discovery Day. Once mutual discovery is complete, you will be invited to visit our Home Office in Columbus, Ohio for a comprehensive Discovery Day experience. During this day, you'll talk with key Donatos leaders, tour our bakery and test kitchen facilities, see our concept store and present your business plan to our panel. At the end of the day, we'll set a timeframe for a final decision, which is typically within two weeks of Discovery Day.
• Decision Day. On this day we'll confirm that we have each made a final decision that being a Donatos Franchise Partner is right for you. At that point we will initiate our relationship officially and draw up development and franchise agreements for signature.
• Signing Day. After all of the documents have been drawn up and in your hands for review during the waiting periods required by the Federal Trade Commission, we will sign the documents and you will be a Donatos Pizza Franchise Partner!
• Turnover. After the documents are signed, you'll be turned over to your Franchise Business Consultant who will guide you through the pre-opening process including real estate, construction and training and will be your point of contact to the Home Office and will assist you in process improvement and business consulting.
• Grand Opening! After you've selected your site, constructed your restaurant and you and all your Associates are trained and ready to go, it?s time to OPEN and begin your life as a Donatos Pizza Franchise Partner!
